As the light dimmed and the first model took to the runway, it was evident that this would be a
show to remember. This collection drew inspiration from sources, ranging from vintage glamour
to futuristic aesthetics, resulting in a diverse line-up of looks. Set with elaborate designs, the
runway came alive with a mix of textures, and patterns and showcased creative director
Alessandro Michele’s vision for the season.
Held in a grand venue with their adorned designs Michele showcased his element for mixing and
matching the unexpected, resulting in cohesive looks. Rich fabrics such as leather, silk, and
velvet, create a dynamic interplay of textures and finishes. The colour palette also played a
significant role in the show, featuring a mix of rich jewel tones and vibrant pops of colour. From
deep emerald greens to red and electric blues, each shade was chosen for a specific mood or
emotion, adding depth overall. With short dresses, long dresses, long laces or shimmer overcoats
it was executed that Gucci was forefront of the fashion world.
Accessories define the mood and tone of each ensemble with the golden touch, with statement
pieces ranging from oversized sunglasses to adorned headpieces. A collection of bold jewellery
with pearls, crystals, and gemstones added a touch of glamorous and lavishness to the looks,
while structured hemicycle handbags also with bold colours provided a sense of definition.
Paired with shimmering heels or chunky pumps that caught the light with every step.
One of the standout pieces and my favourite from the show was a stunning grey dress with a
voluminous bow at the waist. This striking garment included sophistication and refinement, with
its clean lines, tailoring, every stitch, every fold and every seam which served Gucci’s
commitment to the detailing. This added a playful touch to the solidness, creating a sensation of
charm.
It had succeeded in capturing every person’s imagination and inspiration. With their triumph of
creative and innovative designs showcased the brand’s ability to push the boundaries of the
fashion world. It is also the dedication to sustainability and ethical practices. There was a notable
emphasis on eco-friendly materials and production style, highlighting the brand’s enthusiasm
